Established in 1968, Foster & Associates, Inc. offers a staff of Surveyors, Engineers, Planners, and Construction Inspectors. The Office Personnel are located in the firm's office in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The firm has complete in-house reproduction facilities, a state-of-the-art Intergraph CADD System, with software and other computers used for Surveying and Engineering applications.
Our Surveying Department has a strong background in surveying services with the Corps of Engineers and other large surveying projects covering the Southeastern United States. Our Intergraph CADD System, Total Stations with Data Collectors, Multibeam Hydrographic System, G.P.S. and D.G.P.S. w/NavBeacon Radios provide us with complete surveying and mapping capabilities.
Our survey section has many years of surveying experience in all fields of surveying and mapping. Our present employment is 54 persons, with a capable strength of 50-60 people. At this time, we have 3 Professional Engineers and 5 Registered Land Surveyors with registration in 11 southeastern states which include, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas and 3 Certified Hydrographic Surveyors.
As Principle-in-charge for this project, Charley Foster is an active member in ACSM and is registered in 8 southeastern states. Charley Foster is also a Certified Hydrographic Surveyor (No.090). Brian K. Foster & David K. Foster are registered in several southeastern states, will be the Project Managers and responsible for the scheduling, coordination and quality control for this project. Randy L. Stephens is registered in 11 southeastern states and is also a Certified Hydrographic Surveyor (No. 108), will be Office Manager responsible for on time projects and quality control. Larry Lewis is a Certified Intergraph CADD technician responsible for editing electronically collected field data and producing digital mapping.
